Personal desktop application
A quieter way to
work through email.
Personal Mail is an owner-operated tool for reviewing Gmail and following the owner's email-organization decisions.
The application runs locally and connects directly to Google after the account holder gives consent. These public pages explain the app's purpose, requested permissions and data handling.
What the app is for
- Reviewing messages, one at a time or in related groups.
- Recording the owner's choices and reusable rules for future email.
- Supporting owner-directed organization, such as archiving, spam decisions and native Gmail filters.
Access stays with the account holder
Each mailbox requires its own Google authorization. Gmail permissions cover reading and managing mail, plus settings access for native filters. Google's mail-management permission also technically permits composing, sending and moving messages to Trash. Permission alone does not instruct the tool to perform those actions.
This is a personal-use application, not a public sign-up service. This website has no Gmail sign-in form, mailbox viewer or token storage.
